£104.00
Do you and a friend fancy a go at Go Karting?
AbleNet can make it happen for one disabled driver and one able bodied driver to take to the track together. Or more if you wish. All at a track in North East Norfolk.
Race against the clock, try and improve your lap times, practice your overtaking and fine tune your racing line with this 30 minute karting session for 2.The specially adapted handlebar control kart to allow anyone without leg movement to partake in Kart racing.
This inhouse custom built Kart is unique in the UK, it has handlebar controls with the accelerator and brake on the handlebars, as long as the driver has upper body control we can get them fitted, secured down and racing!
This Kart is wheelchair accessible in the pit lane and we can assist you in getting in or out of the Kart though a family or group member is preferred for this.
Everything you need on the day is included, such as race suit, helmet and gloves, however you will need to either buy your own Balaclava at the venue or bring your own on the day. The karts include a 200cc engine and have a top speed of around 45mph.Drivers are given telemetry printouts at the end of each session showing fastest laps, average laps and a comparison of other drivers in the session and everybody else who has raced on the day.
Our partners take safety of all racers extremely seriously and now has the De Haardt Xtra Safety System in place across all karts, this means that at the touch of a button the marshalls can bring all karts to a stop in the event of a dangerous situation.
