On the Day

You will have received a call the day before confirming weather conditions, however, Skydiving is weather dependent and there’s always the chance that skydivers will have to wait a while, or even come back another day.

Once a date is confirmed, all our skydives are non refundable, but there is no charge or penalty to reschedule due to weather. We do ask that skydivers are prepared to turn up and wait for suitable conditions, as forecasts aren’t always accurate.

The costs for the tandem jump are divided into:

• Tandem skydive
• Helpers for us on the plane and to check all straps before the jump. A helper is non-negotiable, for assistance and safety.
• As soon as we agree on a jump date, we will discuss the weather and have a chat 24hrs before to see if it is possible to skydive.
• Only when the weather is suitable, usually in winds of 10knts + can we jump. Whilst here you may see others jump, but we must ensure all conditions are in place to make the skydive as risk free as possible.
• You must bring any helpers or carers needed to assist you on the ground. We have facilities available including Radar key toilets and showers.
• There is a scissor lift to help access the plane.
• The helpers should be able to make sure that after the jump you have not suffered any unnoticed injuries and inform us if there are any.

Process to get you skydiving;

2. Jumper to obtain BSB Form 115B signed by doctor – follow this link 115B Medical Form
3. Jumper to complete medical declaration on Ablenet website ( www.ablenet.co.uk/medical )
4. Lead instructor to make video call with skydiver
5. If agreed, date arranged. (The jump is weather permitting) – £100 non refundable fee paid to Jump Site
6. Lead Instructor call customer day before jump confirming weather conditions
7. Jump
8. Post jump feedback with customer
9. Videos and photos issued.

How long does it take?

Please allow four to six hours for the Tandem Skydiving experience.

When can I try it?

The Tandem Skydiving Experience is available on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays all year round.

What should I wear/bring?

We’ll provide jumpsuit, helmet, goggles and all the other kit you need to complete the jump. Please wear comfortable, loose fitting clothes and flat-soled shoes with no hooks – trainers are ideal.

Can my friends and family watch?

Absolutely, the more the merrier!

I need a carer/I’m booking for someone who needs a carer. Is that a problem?

Restrictions

• We strongly advise a carer, friend or family member attends this experience. This is to ensure that you have someone to help you after your incredible experience.
• It’s suitable for people over 16 years, over-40s require a BPA Medical form signed by a doctor and under-18s require the signature of a parent or guardian.
• If you suffer from any of the following medical conditions, you must obtain a Doctor’s signature on a BPA Medical Form prior to jumping: Epilepsy, fits, severe head injury, recurrent blackouts or giddiness, disease of the brain or nervous system, high blood pressure, heart or lung disease, dislocated shoulder, recurrent weakness or dislocation of any limb, diabetes, mental illness, drug or alcohol addiction.
• This activity is not suitable for pregnant women.

• The weight limit for tandem skydiving at is (fully clothed) 94kg for women, and 98Kg for men.
• Your height and weight should be in proportion.

• This experience can only take place if the right weather conditions are present for it to happen safely. Cloudy weather or high winds will result in the skydive being postponed.
