ABLEXTRA MEMBERSHIP POLICY

- Purpose
This Membership Policy explains how AbleXtra Membership operates. It should be read alongside our Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
The purpose of AbleXtra is to provide eligible disabled people and individuals living with qualifying long-term health conditions access to discounts, offers and services from participating organisations.
- Who Can Apply?
Membership is available to individuals who meet our eligibility criteria.
Applicants must:
- be at least 16 years of age;
- normally reside within the United Kingdom (unless otherwise agreed);
- provide accurate personal information;
- satisfy our eligibility verification requirements; and
- comply with our Terms & Conditions.
Parents, carers, legal guardians and those acting under a valid Power of Attorney may apply on behalf of an eligible individual where appropriate.
- Eligibility Verification
To protect the integrity of the scheme, AbleXtra verifies eligibility before granting Membership.
Family or Carer proof can be provided this way
Verification helps ensure Member-only benefits remain available to those they are intended to support.
Examples of acceptable evidence may include:
- Personal Independence Payment (PIP)
- Disability Living Allowance (DLA)
- Attendance Allowance
- Adult Disability Payment (Scotland)
- Blue Badge
- Access Card
- Certificate of Visual Impairment (CVI)
- Registration as Sight Impaired or Severely Sight Impaired
- War Pension Mobility Supplement
- Armed Forces Independence Payment
- NHS or consultant documentation confirming a long-term disability
- Other documentation accepted by AbleXtra
Submission of evidence does not automatically guarantee approval.
AbleXtra may request additional evidence where reasonably necessary.
- Membership Approval
Applications are reviewed by our verification team.
Where additional information is required, we will contact the applicant.
Once approved:
- Membership becomes active;
- payment is processed (where applicable);
- Member Benefits become available.
Applicants whose eligibility cannot be confirmed may have their application declined.
- Membership Benefits
Membership may include access to:
- exclusive discounts;
- promotional offers;
- cashback opportunities;
- competitions;
- partner services;
- educational resources;
- newsletters;
- future Member-only features.
Benefits may change from time to time.
No particular benefit is guaranteed to remain available.
- Membership Fees
Membership fees are published on our website.
Fees may change for future subscription periods.
Existing Members will be notified of any changes affecting automatic renewals in accordance with applicable law.
- Renewals
Membership may renew automatically where selected during purchase.
Members may disable automatic renewal at any time through their online account before the renewal date.
Cancelling automatic renewal does not end the current Membership period.
- Cancellation
Members may cancel automatic renewal whenever they choose.
Where Membership has already been paid for, access normally continues until the end of the paid subscription period.
Statutory cancellation rights remain available where applicable under UK consumer legislation.
- Refunds
Refund requests are considered in accordance with our Terms & Conditions.
In general:
- requests made within the applicable statutory cooling-off period will be assessed under consumer legislation;
- once Member-only digital benefits have been accessed, full refunds may not be available where permitted by law;
- approved refunds will end Membership immediately.
Each request is considered individually.
- Acceptable Use
Membership is provided for personal use only.
Members must not:
- share accounts;
- share Member-only discount codes;
- publish exclusive offers online;
- sell Member Benefits;
- create duplicate accounts;
- provide false verification documents;
- misuse promotions;
- attempt to bypass security controls.
Failure to comply may result in suspension or termination of Membership.
- Keeping Your Information Up to Date
Members should ensure that their:
- email address;
- contact details;
- eligibility information; and
- payment details
remain accurate and current.
Failure to keep information up to date may affect access to Membership.
- Reverification
AbleXtra may occasionally ask Members to confirm that they remain eligible.
This helps protect the integrity of the Membership scheme.
Reasonable notice will normally be given before reverification is required.
Failure to respond may result in temporary suspension until verification has been completed.
- Misuse of Membership
Membership may be suspended or terminated where we reasonably believe that a Member has:
- shared exclusive offers;
- provided false information;
- abused promotions;
- engaged in fraudulent activity;
- breached the Terms & Conditions;
- attempted to obtain Membership dishonestly.
Where appropriate, Members will be given an opportunity to explain or correct the issue before a final decision is made.
Immediate suspension may occur where necessary to protect the security or integrity of the Services.
- Appeals
If you believe your Membership has been wrongly suspended or terminated, you may request a review.
Appeals should be submitted using the contact form on our website within 30 days of notification.
Where appropriate, additional evidence may be requested.
We aim to review appeals within 14 Business Days, although more complex cases may take longer.
Our decision following an appeal will be final, without affecting any legal rights you may have.

We will consider reasonable adjustments and alternative formats where practicable.

We aim to acknowledge enquiries promptly and respond as quickly as reasonably practicable.

We may update this Membership Policy from time to time to reflect:
- improvements to our services;

- operational requirements;
- new Membership features.
The latest version will always be published on the AbleXtra website.
